　千里鶯啼いて　緑紅(クレナイ)に映ず
　水村山郭(スイソンサンカク)　酒旗の風
　南朝四百八十寺(シヒャクハッシンジ)
　多少の楼台　煙雨(エンウ)の中(ウチ)

Spring birds sing all over,        
    green reflects red             
Riverside village, mountain hamlet,
    flags of liquor in the wind    
Southern Dynasty's old temples,    
    four hundred eighty            
A number of towers,                
    into the smoky rain
