花 夜 處 春　　春
落 來 處 眠　　曉
知 風 聞 不　　　
多 雨 啼 覺　　　
少 聲 鳥 曉

　春眠　暁を覚えず
　処処(ショショ)　啼鳥(テイチョウ)を聞く
　夜来(ヤライ)　風雨の声
　花落つること　知んぬ多少ぞ

Spring Dawn                   

Spring sleep hasn't        
    realized the dawn yet, 
Here and there             
    hearing birds singing. 
From last night            
    sound of wind and rain;
How many flowers           
    have fallen down?
